When planning a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, please keep in mind I can DJ your event anywhere on Walt Disney World property. To request me for your Special Day, you will contact Disney, and you can specifically ask for me to perform, directly through Disney's Entertainment Department. There will be no need to do a separate contract with me; you will pay Disney a set rate included in your package.
I am lucky enough to be chosen as one of the few, select DJs to perform at Walt Disney World. When planning a Fairy Tale Wedding, Disney will assign you a DJ from their "in-house" list of DJs, about 30-60 days before your wedding. Again, you can make a special request to have me perform at your reception.
You may ask why there is such a price difference as to what my normal rate is, compared to what Disney charges. The Disney rate includes rental and technician services, such as set-up and breakdown of stage, dancefloor, lighting, etc. Please note you can use a non-Disney DJ, however Disney will charge you an "outside entertainment vendor" fee to do so, reflecting the above rental and tech charges.
More than likely, using a Disney-approved DJ is still cheaper than using a non-Disney DJ, because you must pay the "outside entertainment vendor" fee to Disney, plus whatever fee you are paying to your own DJ.
